1. Introduction

Welcome to GA4 Audit Tool ("we," "our," or "us"). We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring transparency about how we handle your data. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data when you use our automated Google Analytics 4 (GA4) auditing tool.

2. Information we collect

We collect the following information to provide our service:

A. Information you provide

  • Account Information (Stored): When you sign up, we collect and store your email address, name, and profile picture to create your account and manage your subscription.

B. Google Analytics data

  • Transient Access (Not Stored): We access your GA4 property configurations and data streams via the Google Analytics API to perform the audit. We do not store the raw stream of user-level data (e.g., individual page views or events). This data is processed in memory to generate the report and then discarded.
  • Audit Reports (Stored): We store the aggregated results of the audit (e.g., "Missing Conversion Events", "Health Score: 85") to provide you with historical trends and PDF downloads. These reports do not contain raw user data.
  • Specific Examples (Stored): In some cases, to help you fix issues (e.g., "PII detected in URL"), we may store specific example strings found in your data (such as a URL containing an email address) within the report itself.

3. How we use your information

  • To generate automated audit reports identifying configuration issues and data quality gaps in your GA4 properties.
  • To monitor the health score of your properties over time (if you enable scheduled audits).
  • To send you email notifications regarding audit completion or critical alerts (only if you subscribe).
  • To improve the accuracy and performance of our auditing algorithms.

4. Google API disclosure

GA4 Audit Tool's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere toGoogle API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

We do not share your Google Analytics data with third-party AI models or external advertising networks. Your data is processed solely for the purpose of generating your audit reports.

5. Data retention & deletion

We retain your audit reports and account information as long as your account is active. You may delete your account and all associated data at any time by contacting our support team via email. Upon request, we will permanently remove all your data from our servers within 30 days.
